Sorry for another thread.

I am thinking of my first meal in the IP will be a ham. Will it come  out with crispy edges  like baking or is it fatty.  I am trying to see if baking in the oven will be better

Because pressure cookers cook with built up steam, food does not get crispy.  If you want crispy edges, it's probably not the best cooking method.  Why don't you cook a side dish like a veggie instead?

You might try this.  It sounds very simple; just make sure the ham will fit in your pot.

What an interesting question @kcladyz and thank you for the recipe @Kachina624 as my first reaction was no, I wouldn't pop a ham into the IP as it is already cooked and you are just looking to warm it through but this recipe would infuse those yummy flavors into the ham.  Great idea, thanks for sharing!
