I've posted this before and thought I would post it again since we are getting green peppers from the garden now...it is very good and easy! My sister gave the recipe to me several years ago.

Green Pepper Bake

1 lb. ground beef

½ cup chopped onion

1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes- cut up (do not drain~add juice from tomatoes)

1 large green pepper - chopped

½ cup long grain rice (uncooked)

½ cup water

2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

½ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Brown beef . Put in greased 2 qt. casserole. Add next 8 ingredients. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese - return to oven for about 5 minutes.
