There used to be more posters posting recipes until QVC changed the forums. There is a site online that lists a lot of recipes that used to be on the forums if you want to check them out. The site was going to be taken down but for some reason it's still online. I copy & pasted all the recipes. If you don't want to click on my link Google BB Recipes to find the site. http://www.bb-recipes.com/

@karol59

I just started using my bread machine again too.

I have never made rolls in it though. Sounds great, I hope you find your recipe!

I totally agree!  So nice of you to post this!

I actually stopped buying cook books!  Everything I could imagine is here...or someone has posted a link to a wonderful site I didn't even know existed!

Here's a recipe I make hamburger buns in the bread machine.

Whole Wheat Hamburger & Hot Dog Buns for 1 ½ Pound

1 c water (for Welbilt/Dak machines adds 2 T more water)

1 egg

2 c all-purpose flour

1 c whole wheat flour

¾ t salt

4 T butter

¼ c brown sugar

1 pkg yeast

Place all ingredients in bread machine, select dough setting, press start.

Remove dough onto floured countertop. Gently roll & shape into a 12” rope.

With a sharp knife, divide dough into 8 pieces for hamburger buns or 12 pieces for hot dog buns.

Grease baking sheet. Roll pieces of dough into balls & flatten for hamburger buns or shape into 6” rolls for hot dog buns. Place on baking sheet. Cover & let rise in a warm oven 10-15 mins. until almost doubled. (Hint: To warm oven slightly, turn on oven on warm setting for 2 mins., then turn it off, place covered dough in oven to rise). Remove from oven to preheat.

400° 12-15 mins or until golden brown

Cool on wire rack

The original recipe calls for 1/4 c shortening & 1/4 c sugar. DH changed it to 4 T butter & 1/4 c brown sugar.

Have been using King Arthur's All Wheat White Flour

Have also used all white flour when I was out of wheat or all wheat white but I like it with wheat.

Have also made smaller rolls with this recipe.

Recipe from Bread Machine Magic Cookbook by Linda Rehberg & Lois Conway

All the recipes I have used from this cookbook have been really good. If anyone buys the cookbook look for the revised edition. It lists the recipes in a 1 Pound, 1 1/2 Pound or 2 Pound Recipes. The original does not have recipes for 2 Pound if you are looking for that.

I also have the More Bread Machine Magic cookbook.

I found another one........

Any delicious bread roll recipes out there? I want to make the dough a day ahead and bake for Easter dinner. This is the recipe I always make....

Country White Bread or Dinner Rolls (Bread Machine)

Ingredients

1 cup water, plus

1 tablespoon water (70-80 F)

1 large egg

4 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil

3 1/4 cups bread flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

2 tablespoons melted butter (for dinner rolls only) (optional)

2 tablespoons shortening (for dinner rolls only) (optional)

Directions

In bread machine pan, place all ingredients from flour through yeast in order as recommended by the manufacturer.

Select the basic bread setting.

Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing, if needed add 1-2T of water or flour.

Bake as normal.

For dinner rolls.

Mix in bread machine but use only the dough option.

Lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking pan (I always use a metal pan).

When dough is finished shape into 15 uniformly sized balls. I always grease my hands with shortening to smooth the dough out and it helps keep the dough from drying out.

Cover and let the rolls rise in a warm, draft free place until risen to the desired size.

I let them about double in size.

Bake in a 350° oven about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

After removing from the oven, brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.

Take out of pan and let completely cool before storing.
