Gordon's meatballs with sauce

I normally buy the bag of frozen meatballs from Gordon's Food Service and split between two crock pots.  In one I use the sweet and sour sauce, the other I use BBQ sauce.  This year at the store they had a sweet & savory flavor and the clerk told me it was good so I bought.  Now that it is getting close I'm nervous if the sweet & savory is as good as BBQ and enough different from the sweet and sour.  Has anyone tried the Sweet & Savory?

TIA and Happy Holidays!!

Can you take one out, nuke it and taste it?

Re: Gordon's meatballs with sauce

The meatballs are just plain then I throw in crockpot with a can of sauce.  I would have to open the whole can.  I guess it will be a new experience this year.....if no one likes I can go back to the BBQ sauce next time.

Re: Gordon's meatballs with sauce

We have had Sweet and Savory at our Gordons for the last 3 or 4 years, and it is delicious.    I have used it for my meatballs  that long, bought it again this year.    It is a great sauce and my entire family loves it.    We have never used their BBQ in the can, since I make my own to. use with those little sausage dogs, so can't compare.........sorry.

Re: Gordon's meatballs with sauce

Thanks Cyan makes me feel better!!    Maybe our GFS has had it too for a long time but haven't had a huge get together for a couple years and the last time I did, I didn't do the meatballs.  I never used their BBQ sauce in a can either  I always bought Sweet Baby Rays.    I'm also doing the cocktail weiners but I use grape jelly and chili sauce.
