 Gooey Butter Cookies

1 stick of butter, softened

8 oz cream cheese

1 egg

1/2 t vanilla

1 cake mix ( recipe used Pillsbury Moist Supreme Mix or any w/o pudding in the mix.)

******************************

1 cup powdered sugar in a bowl to coat cookie blobs.

Mix the butter, cream cheese, egg and vanilla, very well. Add in the cake mix. Dough will be thick. Using a cookie scoop, scoop blobs of dough and put into the powdered sugar and coat. Place the cookies on a baking sheet. I use a Silpat mat. Flatten cookies a little. Bake at 350* for 12 min. Let cool, sift on more sugar if you want to. I have used chocolate and spice cake mixes to make these cookies. YUM YUM Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

I love cookie recipes!  Thanks for sharing!  It reminds me of Paula Deen's butter cake recipe:
