I dug this recipe out and posted on a thread of someone wanting to use up green onions a month or so ago. I made it yesterday and adjusted a few things. Nice change from the usual soups I make.

2 T sesame seeds
2 T oil
1 pound ground pork (not sausage)
1/4 cup finely chopped sour pickles (cornichons or dills)
Peanut Sauce (see below)
6 cups chicken broth
1 pkg fresh fettuccine (8-9oz) (cut into smaller pieces)
2 cups chopped green onions
1/4 cup finely chopped roasted salted peanuts

Thin green onion slivers

In a large pan over medium heat stir sesame seeds until lightly toasted. Remove and set aside.

Add oil and ground pork to pan. Stir over high heat until meat is crumbled and lightly browned. Mix pickles and peanut sauce with meat. Add broth and cover pan. When mixture is boiling uncover and add fettuccine. Stir to separate pasta. Simmer until pasta is tender (about 3 minutes). Stir in chopped green onions. Ladle into bowls. Sprinkle with sesame seed, peanuts and green onion slivers.

PEANUT SAUCE: In a bowl combine 4 T peanut butter, 5 T soy sauce, 3 T toasted sesame oil, 3 T sugar, 3 T rice vinegar and 1 t hot chili flakes.
