HELLO , JUST WANTED TO SHARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE SUMMERTIME MEALS IN ONE POT RECIPE. I COOKED THIS UP THIS PAST WEEKEND AND ATE ON IT FOR 4 DAYS. BOUGHT ALL THE INGREDIENTS FROM FARMERS MARKET. IF YOU USE ALOT OF VEGS, I USE 1 LB OF BACON, I COOK FOR AN ARMY IN MY HOME SO I HAVE ONE BIG,BIG POT,END UP COOKING UP 2 DOZ. EARS OF CORN. THE FLAVORS ARE SO YUMMY!!
FRESH HOME GROWN GREEN BEANS
RED POTATOES
1 LG. ONION
CORN ON THE COB
BACON
SALT/PEPPER
USE WHATEVER AMOUNT OF VEGS. YOU WANT TO COOK. START OUT COOKING GREEN BEANS FIRST WITH THE ONION AND BACON,SALT/PEPPER IN POT WITH LOTS OF WATER,BRING TO A BOIL AND TURN TO SIMMER AND COOK TILL ALMOST TENDER,ADD YOUR POTATOES AND CORN ON THE COB THE LAST 30 MINS. OF COOKING. THE CORN COOKED IN THAT BACON BROOTH IS TO DIE FOR!!!!!
