For those who love fried calamari, my son whipped some up last night in the fryer while I made a sauce to dip it into.  Here's a photo of the first batch that came out of the fryer.  Better than any that you can get in a restaurant.image000000001.jpg

@ciao_bella where are the tentacles?! That's my favorite part! Carrabas actually made some lightly fried, tender calamari-we could request a whole plate of tentacles but they don't serve the tentacles anymore! Guess people are grossed out by them!

@Styleovertrend  Not a big fan of the tentacles, so didn't include them in the photo.  My son, however, likes them so he gets them all...

@Styleovertrend  If you're asking is calamari considered part of the Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes....in my Italian family, it is!  It's a delicious dish, if made properly.
