Fresh strawberry pie with sugar cookie crust!

Since its strawberry season thought I would share with you my families favorite strawberry pie recipe!

STRAWBERRY PIE~

1 qt fresh strawberries
1 cup sugar
1 small box strawberry jello mix
1 cup water
3 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp white syrup
boil sugar, water, cornstarch and syrup. cook until thickened. Add jello.
cool~ add strawberries and put into pie crust. Put in refridgerator.


CRUST~
1 cup butter
1 stick butter
1/4 cup powder sugar

press into greased 9in pie plate and bake around 20 minutes
