I love clams, as I'm from New England, but now that I'm living in a land locked state, am not a fan of any deemed as 'fresh'...or the frozen kind.

All those that I've tried have been thrown out. Yuck!

 

I now only trust and use Snow's Bumble Bee canned clams.

I'm SO sorry, @nana59 . It's such a shame when that happens, especially after putting in the effort & co$t to make a dish. 

That's why I was so curious to know what happened.... that's been my experience too.

Canned clams it is!
