Flank steak used to be a less-expense cut of meat. I buy it when it's on sale and this is our favorite recipe for it. I usually marinate for 24 hours and sometimes double so that we have sauce to serve with
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 vegetable or light olive oil
2 t worcestershire source
1/2 t ground black pepper
1/2 t dried basil
1 bay leaf
Combne ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Marinate meat overnight or 24 hours and grill.
