I’ve been looking into proactive foods
One is flack seeds, if you use, how?
I’m familiar of them on my seedy bagels/ crackers/ tortilla chips
I was thinking of using them on salads, etc. to get more impact Suggestions
(As a breast cancer survivor I read they are good for preventing cancer )

Please forgive me if I'm wrong, but do you mean flax seeds ?

I mainly use them on oatmeal in the morning (with a squirt of flax seed oil that I use instead of butter), sprinkle them on top of peanut butter on toast, and use them in smoothies, also along with some flax oil.

I always use the ground ones, and the golden ground ones if I can find them. I never use the whole flax seeds.

Since I have Celiac disease, I have ground them into flour.  It works pretty well.

They are very oily and my dentist wanted to know what was coating the back side of my teeth.  I am more careful when brushing now.

@springers My favorite flax meal brands are Bob's Red Mill and Barleans.  For flax oil, my favorite is Whole Foods 365 then Barleans.

I sprinkle a teaspoon of  milled flax seeds on yogurt  and add them to smoothies. They add a little texture and protein.
