I absolutely love still my Betty Crocker cookbook.  Got it as a bridal shower gift back in 1975.  Used it so much over the years that it is falling apart. Lol.  In fact my next recipe is going to be Swedish Meatballs.  Made these way back when and they were good.  Want to make them again and put them over  noodles.

Three Rivers Cookbook.  It sold nationally in the 70s and 80s but originated in a small

tony suburb of Pittsburgh and it's goal was to support the local hospital.  It's really very good, have used it for years.  The recipes were submitted by local residents and local chefs, too.  There are three volumes, with the first being my favorite.

I also like the church lady cookbooks, especially the ethnic ones.  However, I have found some of the best cookie recipes in Better Homes & Gardens.

I already replied saying my favorite cookbook is Betty Crocker. But just had to tell you all that my son got me David Venable cookbook for Christmas.  Anxious to try some recipes.

@Fribwl I have this one, not sure of the year but most of the binding is gone on mine. Well used, well loved.

Still my fave, not because of the recipes but because of the memories. 😙

I love cookbooks and trying recipes and have been collecting for years.  I keep my favorite recipes in a binder and my super faves I still keep in a recipe box.  The book I always seem to go back to is The Silver Palate Cookbook I got back in the 70's .
