I watch Mad Hungry every day, and the best tip Lucinda ever gave, in my opinion, is how to cook spinach properly. I used to buy a ton of spinach, very costly, in order to get enough for a family meal, but not anymore. Rinse the spinach, put in a pan and cover, and in a minute or so, the spinach is cooked perfectly. No longer is it necessary to drain/squeeze the excess water from the spinach, as cooked in this way, the water stays in the spinach, thus producing a much more flavorful, very nice textured spinach. Salt/flavoring can be added during cooking, or after. Bon Appetit!
