The other day I was thinking about how much I had loved Blue Cheese and Ritz crackers. So went to Trader Joe's and bought some of the cheese for my crackers. It was delicious. Don't know how I had forgotten about it for so long.

Does anyone else have a favorite cheese that they like to pair with something simple?

My daughter called me this afternoon and said she was eating ritz crackers with cream cheese and olives.  It made me want some so I got the crackers, cream cheese out and I only had one jar of olives and they were not open.  I had some capers already opened so I put some capers on it.  That too is good.

@Nonametoday . I love cream cheese and olive sandwiches. But it has to be on white bread.

@Flatbush   Blue cheese paired with steak. For crackers I like sharp Cheddar or smoked Gouda.

Blu cheese with mixed greens stuffed in a hummus spread pita with all the above.

I put slices of sharp cheese on apple pie and pop it in the microwave for a few seconds.  Yum yum.

Blue cheese stuffed in dates and wrapped in crispy fried bacon. Pop in the microwave 15 seconds to calm the cheese a bit.

Pimentos + Cheese = Pimento Cheese.  My Charleston, SC born & bred husband makes it from scratch & I adore him for it!

@Flatbush I agree with you and others that Blue Cheese pairs with almost everything! I like it with figs, with butter, and your suggestion as well, and with all the suggestions by @candys mine . I also like a good Parmesan and pasta.

I got this cheese package from Sams.  The pieces are individually wrapped.  I opened the Pesto Jack and it was unbelieveable! 

I wish I could just get that one!  Love it with a Ritz or origonal triscuit.
