I don’t have a specific answer to your question. Depends on the length and width of the stalk.

We didn't have any rhubarb growing, but whenever my mom would buy rhubarb stalks to make rhubarb cobbler, we'd eat the stalks raw (no sugar).
She was a huge fan of Bisquick and would make cobblers all summer. Our house was built on a former apricot orchard and we still had three heavy-producing apricot trees in our backyard for all that cobbler.

@Mothertrucker I have alot of Rhubarb and decided to try your recipe. This cake is so delicious, the custard on the bottom is fabulous, might have to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream when I serve this. !!!!!
