Just made this the other day and hubby really liked it.

Prep time:20 min

Start to finish: 1 hr 15 min, 6 Servings

4 C. sliced peeled cooking apples (4 med.)

1/2 granulated sugar

3 Tlb Pillsbury BEST all-purpose flour

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 (8 oz) can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent /dinner rolls

1/2 C. packed brown sugar

2 TBL butter or margarine, melted

Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, mix apples, granulated sugar, flour and 1 tsp of the cinnamon.

2. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles. Press 2 rectangles in bottom of ungreased 8- 9-inch square pan. Spread apple mixture over dough. Place remaining 2 rectangles over apples, gently stretching to cover.

3. In small bowl, mix brown sugar and remaining teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over dough. Drizzle with butter.

4. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until deep golden brown and center is no longer doughy. Cool 15 minutes before serving. Serve with whipped cream.

High altitude, no change.
