Easy Butterscotch Snack Cake

Butterscotch Snack Cake

1 (3.5-oz.) pkg. cook & serve butterscotch pudding
2 c. milk
1 (18 1/4-oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (11-oz.) pkg. butterscotch baking chips
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

In a large saucepan, combine pudding mix and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat; stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in dry cake mix. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with butterscotch chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Serves 12-16.
