I am not sure if I posted this recipe last year or not. This is a tried and true recipe that I make all year round and it is easy to make and they come out really yummy! You can either grill them or bake them in the oven. I prefer baking them in the oven but either way they come out good.

BABY BACK RIBS

Prep: 15 minutes / Grill: 1 hour 20 minutes

2 racks baby back ribs (about 4 1/2 pounds)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 paprika

1 tablespoon pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper - this is cut back but if you like it hot then go up to 1/4 teaspoon

Bottled BBQ sauce.....your favorite kind

We make this rub up ahead of time and have it on hand. We use less pounds of ribs so we use a lot less of the rub.

Rub ribs with oil, in a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne; rub over the ribs. Wrap in a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil. seal the edges of foil.

We often bake them so place the foil wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and cook at 350 for 1 hour. Open up the package and spread your BBQ sauce on them and cook opened sitting on the foil for another 20 min, to 30 min.

Or:

Grill ribs over indirect medium heat for 1 hour. Carefully remove ribs from foil and place over direct heat; baste with BBQ sauce. Grill 20 min. longer or until juices run clear and meat is tender, turning once after basting occassionally.
