/>

I make apple pie a lot-the double crust kind-but every now and then, I like something different. My daughter Robin made this recipe first and told me how good it is. After hearing her rave, I knew I had to try it.

Robin's right-this pie is incredible. Just the right mix of apples to the crunchy topping. Oh my gosh, did we enjoy this. It's like apple crisp in a pie....TOO good. I've always done what my Mom does when she makes apple pie-she always sprinkles vanilla extract over the top of the apples-so that's what I did on this one.

This pie is AWESOME........and I mean AWESOME.......trust me on this one, folks. My thanks to Vicki for sharing the recipe on the Taste of Home board.

<span style=
