I added mint chocolate chips to my Double Chocolate Chunk cookies. You can also add Peanut Butter chips if you don't like mint. Another suggestion, I used to add the mini Peppermint Patties or I would break up the larger ones. I haven't made them for years. Thanks for posting.

OXO also makes this spatula.  It is readily available at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

 

It is FAB for cookies!

 

I also use it for eggs, so I can gently over them and not break the yokes.
