I love to eat a good salad but this wouldn't work for me. I haven't had iceberg lettuce in 40+ years. And I no longer eat romaine with all of the recalls with this salad green.

 

Give me a bowl of fresh greens topped with cukes, little tomatoes, a bit of green onion, a few carrots, radish, celery, a hard boiled egg, toss in a few croutons, some sort of shredded cheese, pepitos, oil, a great vinegar, maybe a spoonful of Duke's, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper I'm good.

@Kachina624   Grown up version, toss in some blue cheese, yes this does make a better cole slaw.
