I think it might have been in this cookie cookbook, I know I didn't have a Pillsbury cookie one. I finally learned to post a picture in here, yeah! Anyone have this cookbook?

No, I don't have that cookbook but I think the Karo "teddy bear" cookies look adorable! It looks like they used something to build the 'snout' of the bear. @AnnMarie-1 Are you able to tell what they used to decorate them? Thank you!

Thanks also @Zhills I think that is it!

I looked on the Karo Syrup web page & saw this Peanut Butter Bears, which look similiar. I do not have the cookbook as it is in storage.
Snouts are made of left over dough.

Thank you for the great photo. I think they can be made with gingerbread cutters with the "ears" added. So cute! I never thought of rolling and cutting out peanut butter dough. I have an annual gingerbread house decorating party for the kids in the neighborhood. I'm going to try some of these cookies along with the usual gingerbread men. It is nice your post worked out for both of us😀

Oh, yes! Those are really very good!
I used to make those all of the time.
I would also make the ones that are posted on Betty Crocker's website under the "Grandma's Old Fashioned Oatmeal Raisin Cookies," as I have a somewhat newer version of that cookbook.
One repeated comment that I saw under the baker's comments section is that recipe-users were indicating that they kept coming out too flat.
I haven't made any from that particular recipe in a long time, so I don't remember if that was a problem for me or not.

I copied this one from my BC Cooky Book.
Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but it sounds good :-)

I don't have the book you posted, but I think I'm going to try to find a copy.
