I have all my stuff in storage, going to be awhile until I have my stuff again. Hubby job move has me moved to another state. Hate it, another story.
I think it is in this cookie cookbook, something called Grandmas Old Fashion Oatmeal cookie, made with Butter Crisco & sesame seeds & nuts, possibly walnuts, pecans, it is an excellent cookie

Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup raisins
1cup water
3/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Simmer raisins and water in saucepan over low heat until raisins are plump, 20 to 30 minutes. Drain raisin liquid into measuring cup. Add enough water to make 1/2 cup.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in raisin water. Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices; blend in. Add rolled oats, nuts and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoons of dough about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8- 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
I think that's the one you are looking for. I love that Cooky Book, I've had it over 40 years.

Thanks Laro, that is not it, it may be another cookie cookbook, but this recipe sounds good & I may make it as I am craving oatmeal cookies!

I am having a hard time finding a crispy oatmeal cookie. Maybe it's just me! LOL!!

I haven't baked cookies since my kids left home (which is too bad for my husband, because he probably wishes I still did), but I used to make an oatmeal cookie that turned out crisp. I believe the key to the recipe that accomplished "crispy" was a heavy dose of brown sugar and real butter.
I will look at a few in my old recipe stash and older cookbooks and see if I can identify what I used.

i checked my cookbook and didn't see any recipe, with those ingredients. my book is from 1975 and i think that butter crisco is more recent, than that.
the old-fashoned recipe has you boiling the raisins....
1/2 c. chopped nuts-nothing says sesame seed.

Couldn't find any cookie recipe with sesame seeds, which the OP asked for, but I think this was the oatmeal cookie I made most often........I like them flat and crispy, so as the recipe advises, I always used butter.
(It might be harder to achieve crispness during hot, humid weather, like we've been having where I live.)
OATMEAL CRISPS--a roll, chill & slice cookie
Makes 5 dozen
1 cup shortening--use vegetable shortening for high cookies, margarine or butter for flat.
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Sift together flour, salt and soda and add to egg mixture gradually.
Stir in oats and nuts.
Divide dough into 3 or 4 balls, and on wax paper, roll into logs
about 2 inches in diameter.
Refrigerate until chilled.
Slice rolls 1/4-inch thick and bake on ungreased cookie sheet
at 350 degress for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Ingredients
1 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
OR 1 stick Crisco® Baking Sticks Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups quick rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup sesame seeds
2/3 cup flaked coconut
Preparation Directions
HEAT oven to 350ºF.
COMBINE shortening and sugar in bowl of electric mixer. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
COMBINE flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda in medium bowl. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Stir in oats, pecans, sesame seeds and coconut with spoon.
DROP rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE 10 to 13 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove immediately to cooling rack.
