This slaw sounds great; I have had something similar that had peaches instead of mangoes. The limes and mangoes should keep it juicy enough it doesn’t need mayo or oil. Would be great with grilled chicken.

Or broiled or grilled fish....

Parts of this recipe look good.

Traditional slaw would be my preference, but it sounds like there are many posters who would enjoy it.

It was no for me after the third ingredient.  My mom used to make slaw with a bit of pineapple.  I love cabbage but not vinigary.  I like it with a little bit of raisins also.

It's definitely a non-traditional version and I would love this if not for the fact that I'm not real fond of cabbage.

I think it sounds refreshing and different...but it seems it would be dry to me!

I don't think the lime juice is enough....

I love fruit, but not with something that I consider savory.  I'm more a fan of traditional cole slaw.

[ Edited ]

@Sooner   Got the mangoes this morning.  I mixed up the rest of the ingredients yesterday and refrigerated overnight and added the mangoes earlier today.

Just dished it up to go with hamburgers and enjoyed it.

It won't replace traditional Kentucky Fried Chicken coleslaw--which is my absolute favorite--but it is good and has a delightful flavor profile so I definitely will add this to my rotation of sides.

I think it would be good with a fish dish such as mahi mahi or monkfish.

Best, and thank you for posting this.

Siracha and mint in cole slaw doesn't sound good to me
