I love rutabaga and all the root veggies.  I would be so happy just to eat them the rest of my life.  No meat, except fowl and salmon, and turnips, parsnips, rutabaga, carrots, yams...so good!

The only thing I disliked about them was peeling it.

Rutabagas are a necessity when making stew.

I really dislike it--but my mom loved them. She'd glaze them with lemon and honey--no help there. 

 

The best way I've found is mashed with plenty of butter. Then I can stand them. Or mixed with another root veg or roasted.
