3 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup water
6 tsp tahini, stirred well
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive
1 14-oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cumin
Mix lemon juice and water in small dish. Whisk tahini and 2 tbsp oil in small dish. Process chickpeas, garlic, salt, and cumin in food processor for 15 seconds and scrape down sides of bowl. Add lemon juice and water as processor is running. Scrape bowl and process for 1 minute. Add oil and tahini with machine running until mixture is smooth and creamy.

I like the spinach & artichoke one. I think it's Sabra. I like it with pita bread.

The only hummus I ever liked was one made with great northern beans, and one made with pinto beans. I do not eat garbanzo beans or black beans.

My favorite is Tribe Everything.
I used to buy Sabra - too many recalls.

Sabra is the only brand I enjoy. It has the nice smooth consistency that I prefer. The others (Tribe, Trader Joe's, etc.) are just too "chunky" for me.
