Divinty fudge

Okay I'm really missing divinity fudge, When I was little girl my Aunt Florence made the best divinity you have ever tasted...I have tried at least 4-5 times to make it and only once have I done it...I have a hard time reading the temp thing...is there a minutes thing to this??? is there such a thing as a thing that beeps that you can put on the side of the pot when you have reached the desired time??? certain time of the year?..I'm taking a trip down memory lane today..Could someone help me figure this one out???
