Petit Fours?  Small, neat, cakey.

Did the Departed have a favourite sweet?  Maybe a tray of those.

This pie is loved by everyone.  It's easy to make and requires no baking!

Millainore Pie

1 can crushed pineapple, drained

1 can mandrian oranges, cut in half.

1/3 halved green or purple grapes

1 C chopped pecans, reserve 1/4 c to garnish

1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk

Juice Of One Lemon

1 Graham Cracker Crust

1 8 oz container of Cool Whip

Mix all drained fruits together

In a separate bowl, mix Eagle Brand and juice of 1 lemon.

Mix in fruits with evaporated milk and lemon adding pecan pieces.

Fold 8 oz thawed Cool Whip.

Pour into Graham Cracker crust adding reserved pecan pieces on top.

(This one had drained cut up marichino cherries), 1/2 C.

Cover and refrigerate over night.

Re: Dessert ideas for a funeral reception.

Just about anything would be suitable but I'd go with Cookies, Brownies or Bar Cookies made in a 13 x 9 pan.
