I think the best thing about this cute Turkey Cheese Platter is that it looks fairly easy to make. I found it on Pinterest. There are others on there with more elaborate patterns but I kinda like this one because it's simple and not perfect. It comes from a blogger's site that I am not familiar with...you can click on the link below if you like for the detailed directions on how to make it. But it's pretty self explanatory. She used Ritz crackers, salami, yellow and white cheeses, and chocolate chips for the turkey's eyes. Gotta have a LARGE platter to make this work.

Unfortunately for me and my hubby, our Thanksgiving will not go as planned this year. I've been suffering with diverticulitis for over a week now. Holy Moly! At this point I dream of eating food rather then actually eating it. Ha! However, I do wish the rest of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Gobble Gobble!!

Re: Cute Turkey Cheese Platter

@pupwhipped  Sorry to hear that you are ill.  Had a relative that was hit with it--scary and no fun.  Doctors will take care of it, just follow their advice faithfully re diet.  Hope you are on the mend soon.

Best wishes for Thanksgiving and thank you for this cute platter idea.  Am going to replicate it.  Think my grandsons will love it!
