Re: Curtis Stone - HSN 10th Anniversary 3/19

I think the TS is a good value. Bought one of the previous Durapan TS a couple years ago. One large pan with lid. We use it frequently.

For the TS, I like the Turquoise, White and Stone Gray colors

Anyone else thinking about buying it?

Will take a closer look tmrw for the other event specials

i got one of his TS, a cast aluminum pan(12ins.?) w/lid and we love it. I would get the 3 fry pans, but i want the higher sides, like the small pan has.

this set as well as a set of sauce pans with the buffet handles, plus a steamer insert, were one big set a few years ago as a TS--it also had the lids too--I bought it and boy do I love being able to stack everything without the long stick handle--think I paid $180 for that set--really good cookwear.

I really wish he would make an option of stainless steel instead of the colors he offers.  I love the inside but those colored exteriors can stain over time and I don't like the look.  I know stainless exteriors would be more expensive but I would gladly pay it.

@wagirl   That sounds like the set I purchased sometime last year.  I think it was on clearance but I believe it's been restocked.  I wanted the buffet handles for the same reason you stated but after I got the set and read the instructions, it said to use some sort of a liner in between each pan if you're going to stack them.  I do that but it can be a pain sometimes.  Also, the handles get extremely hot when cooking so I've purchased two sets of his rubberized covers for them but even then, the heat comes through the rubber handles that I sometimes grab a dishtowel and use it too if I'm pouring the contents out.  Except for those two things, I absolutely love this nonstick cookwear.
