I guess you might as well eat it when you have as much gold as the Royal Family. Maybe it will help Charles' complexion.

@lil sophie  I have to agree with @sabatini  and @Love my grandkids . That cake looks like a wreck! Why try to improve it with gold leaf?

@PA Mom-mom, the gold leaf is already on the cake, but I don't understand its design.

To me, the sides seems a bit mardi gras, while the top looks as if something was removed from it & torn in the process.

@sabatini You are right. Looking at it again, it's the gold leaf that is the problem. The cake was originally posted on taste.com au and delicious.com au
