I wrote this recipe in a kitchen post yesterday and I thought I'd put it here also.
This recipe is very easy; just add in whatever you like.
This is the version DH and I prefer:
Cornbread packet or box: bake, let cool, crumble lightly in a serving bowl.
Mayonnaise, to taste
2-4 chopped scallions
1 Roma tomato, chop
1/2 bell pepper, chop
4-6 pieces of bacon, fried, drained, cool, lightly crumble
You can add or delete anything you prefer.
Blend all ingredients and add the mayonnaise in small amounts to just meld everything together. You can always add more mayo after chilling.
Cover with cling-wrap and chill for at least 3-4 hours. The longer it chills, the stronger the onion taste will be.
