I have promised to help my daughter with converting recipes to use yogurt in place of buttermilk, sour milk or sour cream. I have also tried replacing yogurt in place of mayonnaise in some recipes.
Does anyone have any ideas or simple rule of thumb to use when replacing the ingredients? I am a baker and have been adjusting as I go. I havent had any real failures but.... Should I add soda or lemon juice or any other tricks of the trade would be appreciated.
I would also love your ideas using yogurt.
