I've been making them in my rice cooker (1 1/2 cup)

 

1/4 C grits

1 C water

1/4 tsp salt

 

I let the water come to a boil.  Stir in grits using silicone whisk, let finish cook cycle.  When it goes to warm they are still cooking.  I add butter and/or cream at the end. 

I also stir in grated cheese at the end.  Adding 1 T cream cheese with the grated cheeses make them extra creamy and delish!

 

Makes 1 big serving.
