For those who like their crunchy snacks HOT.
COMEBACK CRACKERS
1 box mini Saltine crackers
3/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons Montreal Steak Seasoning
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon Espelette or cayenne pepper
1 large container with airtight lid.
____________________________
Place all crackers in the container.
Mix oil and spices together in a bowl and whisk to combine.
Drizzle over the crackers as evenly as possible. Seal the container.
Flip container upside down and let sit for 5 minutes.
Repeat every five minutes, for 30 minutes.
Store in container up to a week and they will stay crispy.

@novamc1, Oh my, now you've done it!
I bet this is irresistible. You can control the heat. I have another old recipe that uses oyster crackers that are also dangerous to me. I have a love of saltines in any form but these snack recipes are my downfall along with Cheez-Its.![]()
