My husband brought this up the other day. We use to get it at the grocery years ago, and then no more. So I'm on the lookout for a recipe. If you have one, please write it up. I'm going to try and find one on line too. Thanks.

Just Google "cold spaghetti salad" and you will get many recipes. More than I thought. First time I'm hearing about it.

I have not made spaghetti salad in quite a while. I have always used the McCormick Perfect Pinch Salad Supreme. Recently, I have only been able to find it on Amazon. I have always used the recipe that appears on the container. I sometimes add additional items as the recipe can be customized to taste. It is very good, especially when fresh summer vegetables are available. We always add Parmesan Cheese sprinkled on top. Thanks for mentioning this. I will make it again sometime soon.

SPAGHETTI SALAD

1 lb. thin spaghetti

1 (8oz) bottle Zesty Italian Dressing

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

1 medium red onion, chopped

1 pkg. pepperoni, cut-up

1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained

1 can Italian style diced tomatoes

1/4 bottle Salad Supreme by McCormicks

1 (3oz) jar or smaller of sliced green olives, drained

1 bag of favorite shredded cheese

Cook spaghetti; rinse,drain and cool. After it has cooled, add dressing and mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

(NOTE....this recipe makes a lot and is good. I have not added the olives and think black would be fine as well. I can't remember now if I found Salad Supreme by seasonings in store or dressings but think it was near seasonings since it is a McCormicks product. Add amount of cheese you prefer...does not have to be whole bag.)

@qualitygal..................My pasta salad is basically the same as Walkers posted. Except I dont put in the vinegar and I use fresh cherry tomato's. I have made this so much I dont measure anything. I also put in chopped cucumbers and black olives.

This is pretty close to one of the cold pasta salads we enjoy. It's easy and flavorful.

Thank you all, I'll add yours to the 2 I found. A lot of times for Christmas they say, bring a salad. This would be good!! Something different and that we like a lot. Thanks!!!
