Have always enjoyed this day. Used to go out and eat , alot, and drink, a little, to celebrate,  in my younger eays--not so much now but still LOVE  mexican food--am planning on chicken enchiladas, mexican street corn salad, fresh fruit and a green salad. Surprisingly, the fresh corn has been very delicious this early -----OLE'---

@wagirl Unfortunately I can't eat Mexican food due to reflux, but I do love it! For dinner, it's appetizer night; I'm making shrimp cocktails and goat cheese and a bit of peach jam wrapped in phyllo and a tiny bit of chopped pistachios.

A bit hard for me to celebrate this day.....Fifteen years ago today, my dear, sweet mother died.  But for others, hope you have a safe, fun celebration!
