Has anyone tried the Kirkland, Costco, chocolate chips?  Do you think they are better than those from the grocery store.  What do you normally use for cookies?

@kismet  If you have an Aldi I would highly recommend their chocolate chips. You can't go wrong for $1.89 per bag.

they were sampled last time I was at Costco,  went back a few times,

tasted the same to me,  maybe a bit smoother

that said I wouldn't bring a bag of choc chips that big into my house

Agree with @panda1234!  Aldi semi-sweet chocolate chips have such a good taste.  I much prefer them over Nestle, which is what I used to buy.

Some chocolate chips stick to the cookie sheet when I use them in my chocolate chip cookies. Do the Aldi ones stick? TIA

I've been baking with Kirkland chocolate chips for many years.  I find the quality to be on a par with Ghirardelli, my favorite name brand chips.

@panda1234 - This week's Aldi ad has their 12 oz. bags of chocolate chips for $1.29.  This is the time of year to stock up - they have the semi sweet, mini chips and dark chocolate chips.  I think they taste fine.

@Eileen in Virginia , not that I've noticed.

Thanks! I’ll try them the next time I’m at Aldi’s.
