Chit Chat and Dessert : ) December

Hi everyone! Smile I have made this pie several times but haven't made it for a couple years now. My husband and I share a piece of pecan pie at MCL when we go there, so I get my pecan pie fix about once a month and haven't felt the need to make it! lol I enjoyed watching Mama Dip whenever I saw her on TV and I have her first cookbook. This is bad, but I can't remember if I have her second book or not....???? {#emotions_dlg.blush}

I hope you all have a nice day!

Mama Dip's Pecan Pie

1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup Karo syrup
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a saucepan, melt the butter but don't let it brown. Mix in the sugar and corn syrup and cook, stirring, over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Stir in the eggs. Mix well. Stir in the pecans. Pour into the pie shell and bake for 1 hour or until firm when shaken.
