With the holidays just around the corner. Many will be entertaining out of town family and guest. Along with being invited to "Pot Luck" Holiday Parties. What better way to feed a crowd and transport to a party than a "Casserole".
I personally love "Casserole's", there are hundreds of recipes out there for them. So lets have some fun and share with everyone your "Best Casserole".
Blessings to you and yours this "Holiday Season".

Nice idea for thread, Bellabutterfly. This recipe is a good one to have on hand as people arrive from out of town....or anytime!
Spaghetti Bake
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoon brown sugar (or more 😀)
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
2 cups shredded mozzarella (or less)
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
8 oz. spaghetti, broken, cooked and drained
In large pan like Dutch Oven, cook meat, onion and garlic until onion is tender. Drain off fat. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, brown sugar, oregano and basil. Bring to a boil. Boil gently uncovered for 20-25 minutes stirring occasionally.
Stir in cooked spaghetti, then layer 1/2 spaghetti mixture in 9x13" pan. Next, layer 1/2 of mozzarella cheese, top with remaining spaghetti mixture. Follow with remaining mozzarella and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving. Can freeze.
