Wild caught in the Pacific and Atlantic. Tastes very fresh with no off flavors. Comes in a few different size pouches. Has a long shelf life. You can even mix your mayo in and eat from the pouch or put on bread or crackers. Superior to all I have tried from a can. Texture is better and so is flavor.

Thanks @Mindy D

Just added that one to my cart. Hope it's better than the rest.

Now, if I can only find sardines that I like.

@Mindy D

That exact Starkist tuna is what I got rid of last week, and said goodbye to tuna, period.  I made tuna salad out of 3 packs; so nasty my husband and I couldn't eat it.  Our outside dog wasn't even interested in eating it, and that dog eats anything!

Am not buying any brand of tuna anytime soon.

Years ago, I used to make tuna salad; now I get it from Fresh Market.

Wild Planet Albacore is the BEST, IMO. Costco has it for a lower price than the supermarket. It's $16 for 6  5 oz. cans.

Aldi’s albacore tuna is very good, but for those of you who object to seafood from Asia, it is sourced in Thailand......wild, line caught, though. $1.65 for water packed 5oz. can. Delicious.

ETA......Albacore and yellow fin tuna are higher in mercury, so one has to be judicious with consumption.

@WORKING GAL,

Thank you sooo much for your post about the tuna. I never even thought about calling the company, and, that's odd because I usually call other companies about issues!

I will try the Walmart brand like you mentioned, much appreciated!

There are brands that are LOW in Mercury. Wild Planet Albacore tuna is lower in mercury than other brand because of the sustainable practices they implement like pole and line fishing and only using specific species and sizes of tuna.
