Candy Apple Salad

1 red apple

1 green apple

1/2 cup craisins

1/2 -1 cup plain yogurt

1-2 teaspoons rice vinegar (to taste)

1/4 cup sugar

Chopped pecans

1/8 cup sugar

Cut apples in bite size pieces and put in a bowl. Add craisins. In a separate bowl combine the 1/4 cup sugar, yogurt, and rice vinegar til creamy. In a skillet on medium heat sprinkle the 1/8 cup sugar so that it covers the skillet with a thin layer of sugar. As soon as the sugar starts to melt, toss in the pecans til they are coated. Remove from heat. Add the pecans to the salad just before serving so they stay crunchy. ~~~NOTE...for anyone who dosen't know this...I always put apples or even bananas in ginger ale to stop them from browning...then just drain them well.~~~~~
