If that is an EASY on the difficulty scale, don't print a hard one. I never attempt any yeast doughs because they are epic fails.

Re: Can any one share

[ Edited ]

She (Pioneer woman) might had called it "easy", but, even for a person who messes with bread all the time I'd say it wasn't easy at all. Takes a lot of time and she's peeling and dicing the apples in the skillet to carmelize them, going thru 2 raisings of the dough, etc. People nowdays aren't going to do all that they would go to bakery. Have to enjoy baking to want to attempt it.

I'm skipping her cinn roll recipe. LOL Even I'm not that dedicated. LOL

my sister said "9cups of flour" !!! that's a whole 5 lb bag". LOL We both skipped that one.

Most people gonna open up Pillsbury can LOL

@SharkE  FYI. You can order this magazine subscription on Amazon...and have the magazine sent to you or get the kindle version.

I used to have a subscription and really liked it.

Yeah, just wanted to go look at it first in person at the store and see how much it was first. Maybe get it cheaper online. LOL

@SharkE - On a semi-related note, the only recipe from the Laura Weathers book that we have not liked so far was the apple dessert with the cinnamon rolls on top. The idea for the recipe is pretty good, but the storebought cinnamon rolls in a tube are just not tasty, so the addition kind of ruined the dish.

Sounds awful rich too.

Just got back from Barnes & Noble and bought Pioneer gal's big book

'A Yr. of Holidays' and her magazine Holiday issue. Now, going to subscribe to her mag.

if you want a certain recipe from a magazine, check withyour local library to see if they have the issue thatyou need.  many times they do so.
