I just found this in a magazine - haven't had time to try it yet but it sounds delicious!

CABBAGE & MEATBALLS

6 cups chopped cabbage

2 cups tomato juice

2 eggs, beaten

2 sm onions, chopped

2 Tbsp. chili powder

2 Tbsp. cider vinegar

2 Tbsp. chopped dill pickle

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef

Place cabbage in large sauce pan, add tomato juice. Cover & simmer over low heat. Meanwhile, combine the egg, onion, chili powder, vinegar, pickle, salt and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 2-in balls. Add to cabbage mixture. Cover and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Yield: 4 servings
