Anybody got any recipes using Clementines?
Bought some and I'm tired to eating them. Thought my furbaby would enjoy, but he won't touch them! So, I alone am stuck with an abundance of the fruit!

This a tasty winter fruit salad:
Simple Syrup:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
Fruit:
1 tbsp grated lime zest
3 cups grapefruit sections
2 cups orange sections
1 cup clementine sections
Simmer sugar and water over medium heat for about 3 minutes to dissolve sugar.
Mix zest and syrup in dish and let sit 10 minutes. Layer grapefruit, orange, and clementine sections in bowl. Drizzle with syrup and toss to mix.

Can you squeeze the juice out and freeze it in an old ice cube tray and release to store in freezer bag. Or just freeze in bag and slice off as needed, e.g. sweet potatoes or carrot slice topping.

Your furry pet is smart. Citrus is not toxic but can be harmful if they eat a lot, like a whole Clementine.

You can share a few with a neighbor or offer to a delivery person if you have too many to eat yourself. I buy them loose, not by the “crate” so I can always consume them fresh and not get stuck with too many.

Thanx, @gizmogal. I looked online and read it was safe! Guess my boy is smarter than his mama! Unfortunately, stores around here don't offer them separatly. But, got some ideas - juicing, salad were mentioned - and next year, I'll forego the Clementines!

I love to add them to salads with avocados and dried cherries or cranberries.
