CHIPOTLE PEPPERCORN BALSAMIC GLAZE

This was also made at cooking class I attended last night. It was drizzled over sliced strawberries.

1 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 t freshly ground black pepper
1/8 t chipotle powder (or to taste)

Place vinegar, maple syrup and pepper in a small saucepan over medium heat and boil to reduce to a thin syrup. Cool and fold in the chipotle powder.

Drizzle over strawberries and sprinkle with Turbinado sugar as a finishing touch. Mint leaves on dish are nice touch for a garnish.
