I found this recipe in my mother's recipe box. I haven't tried it yet. This recipe must have come from the Gold Medal flour bag.

Brown - Fast Mix

" Just as its name implies, it browns meat faster. Seasons it, too!"

2 c Gold Medal Flour

1/2 c non-fat dry milk solids

1 T. salt

1 t. black pepper

2 t. paprika

Sift all ingredients together. Store in a cool place in a tightly covered container. Use as needed for flouring meat.( chicken, cube steak, chops, stew meat, etc. Mix can be used to make gravy.

Seasoning Tips: To 1 cup mix, add 1/2 t marjoram or thyme,or celery salt, or MSG or 1/4 t garlic powder.

I'd add some garlic powder to the big batch of mix. Smiley Happy Smiley Happy or

I'd just use the flour, milk solids and some seasoning salt.
