I'd like to make a blueberry slab pie for the Fourth as it would be easier to transport in a 9 x 13 dish than two regular-size pies.

Anyone have a recipe for this or recommendations of how much to increase a regular blueberry pie recipe?

Sounds delicious! I just googled "blueberry slab pie recipes", there are several including: Martha Stewart, Pillsbury and Betty Crocker.

I searched and tried to pull up the MS one and one of those fake virus notices came on so had to shut down.  I'll try pulling up each of those sites.  Thank you.

I never made one of them - but I pulled up the recipe for you. Bet it will be delish!

Bring on the whip cream or cold vanilla ice cream.

Just wanted to tell you, went to the Pillsbury website and found a "mixed berry" slab pie.  Sounds delish and easy-peasy, with good reviews.  And, with strawberries and blueberries will be perfect for the Fourth!  Thanx!

FYI - it seems that the slab pies are baked  in a sheet pan and not a 9x13 dish. So you may end up with more crust than needed.

Ther prettiest lattice work on an apple slab pie from FN Baked in Vermont.

@Yahooey. ooh!  YUM!!!!Heart

You've got me hungry, really, really hungry, just looking at this crust!  I'm certainly not an expert cook or baker - actually, whenever someone gushes over anything I make, I literally thank the angels! - but, definitely gonna go to that site and give it a try.  Thank you, again!

If all goes well, I'm gonna make it for the Sat after the 4th family get-together, along with a BLT mac salad recipe I found here!  Will let you know if everyone loves it!
