@Mistreatedbycs ...  I will check out Sugar Geek Show tomorrow.   Some of these recipes can be a bit complicated  so your suggestion to write things down to make it easier in your own words is understandable.  There are a lot of steps and complexities in your torte ... and to have it turn out well is a bonus ...  I have NOT attempted cutting the layers ...  I'll save that for another day.

 

I enjoyed your recipe today and will keep looking for your recipes and tips !!
